A journey lasting more than 140 years

It all began, in 1870, with Amalio Lavezzi and his idea of going up to mount Vesuvius top to get snow for his lemon sorbets.

In his kiosk in Ercolano he explored the world of coffee, opening the very first Lavezzi store.

We lose track until the early 60s to then find the Lavezzi family with the opening of various businesses first in Scauri and then in Baia Domizia. In those years, Anna Lavezzi perfected the recipe for her inimitable hazelnut ice cream.

On july 11 1991 the Lavezzi ice cream shop was inaugurated in Formia, where Lello kept alive the tradition and passion of the Lavezzi family for ice creams and freezing technology.

Today

Today the company produces traditional artisan desserts, offering customers the best mousses produced by the Lavezzi laboratory and a line of cakes and ice creams for all tastes.

Over the years our specializations have increased: from artisan ice cream to traditional and signature pastry, to bakery and breakfast pastry

BUT

the artisan method, the search for quality, the way we approach each new type of product have never changed!
